Concert Time!

On monday the 8th, steve and i went to the franz ferdinand concert, that was put on by 94.7...it was really good!! 2 thumbs up. the opening act was the cold war kids. they were pretty good!

sad and frustrated...

on wednesday i went to the doctor for my post op check up. all incisions look good. but here's the bad news...the endometriosis will come back and i will have to have another surgery(which i already knew). my left ovary that was attached to the pelvic wall will end up back there. and i only have a few years to have kids. all the inflamation and scar tissue that was there and with the endometriosis it's basically ruining my insides. so a few years to go and then i'll just end up doing a hysterectomy. no sence in doing surgery after surgery for the rest of my life... the thing that is frustrating is that i'm not married, so how am i gonna have kids? i'm not gonna single parent it again!! so yeah...i guess the good thing is that i have addie, so if i don't have another child at least have an adorable little red head!

it's now thursday, still home recouping. recovery is taking a lot longer than we all thought. but no matter what, i have to go work on monday.

alright so recovery....HOLY CRAP. surgery went well. surgery was less than 2 hours, which is better than what the dr had planned. when they got inside i was full of endometriosis. and then one of my ovaries had been pushed to the pelvic wall. which was causing a lot of the extra pain. and when he went inside of the uterus the growth he had found, was no longer there. which was good news! so after surgery i spent an hour in recovery and then was moved back to my room. i was given so much of the anhestetic that i couldn't keep my eyes open. i kept dozing off. then i'd be awake for a little bit and then had to drink some water and juice so i could go potty, so i could get out of there. you can't leave til you pee, cuz they need to make sure your bladder is working, especailly with all the trauma that my body had gone through.

i never went pee. i kept throwing up all my liquids, so my dr, said i could go home....but with a cathader...UGH!! did not want to do that, but i wanted to get home. so we did that. then we had to go pick up addie. poor girl, had kept crying cuz she thought i wasn't coming back to get her. we finally got home at like 9:30pm. that was such a long day, it started at 5:30am. so we all crashed when we got home. i hardly slept wednesday night cuz i was sore and then with the cathader, had to keep waking up and checking to make sure it wasn't gonna over flow. so i had to dump it out. try to get back in bed, it was just a rough nite. finally got up around 6am took out the cathader. and went back to bed. a little bit after that, i peed on my own!! woohoo! so it's now friday, still having a rough time. addie was a handful yesterday, i over did it. woke up this morning and was bleeding. so today, brad took the day off and took addie with him so i could sleep. which helped but still not feeling up for anything...so needless to say, it's been very frustrating...

still going crazy

alright, so we are all moved!! and have been for a week!! it sure was crazy! and mom and i sure used muscles we haven't used in awhile! lol!! we were so sore! i promise i will add pics either tonite or tomorrow. things are just going to continue being crazy, cuz i am having surgery on wednesday. i am having my 2nd surgery for endometriosis. and also my dr found a growth on my uterus. so he needs to remove it. so i will be out of work for at least a week. and the thing that sucks is that i used my vacation time for mexico. and now, i need that time! but no such luck, so i will have no pay for that week. which adds extra stress especially with holiday's coming up. it's frustrating. but such is life... a little nervous about surgery, but then i'll have less pain and will feel a lot better. just hope all goes well...just scared cuz i have a little one who depends on me...

craziness!

so it's almost halloween! i've never really been one for dressing up and all that, but now that i have a child, i need to let her experience those things! so she's going to be princess ariel! she's so
stoked about it!
also we are moving!! yeah! no more aparment! it's such a relief. so amongst getting things ready for addie to dress up, we are also packing, like crazy people! you never realize how much stuff you have til, you go through it all. and holy crap! i had/have a lot of stuff. so things, went by the way side! and other things i will hand onto, to show addie, how silly her mom was in high school! julie, steph, and melia, can attest to that! -we were definitely silly? eh?! ok, so back to moving, addie and will still be living with mom, but with the way the economy is going, not gonna get my own place yet. we got to paint the walls! which was so exciting, cuz i painted addie's room, pink and purple! she adores it! but painting, is a lot of work, i looked at mom and asked, what were we thinking?! i'm super excited to decorate and get things in order! we're moving all this week. so unfortunately, i won't be able to take addie, trick or treating, so brad's mom is gonna take her to canby, so she can do that with her cousins(brad's nephwes). but i think i might take some time out on wednesday and do the trunk or treat at the church with her.
