Colds...

So Addie is sick. She was up every hour last night with a runny nose, cough and fever. She couldn't get comfortable, which then made me not get much sleep since she was sleeping with me! I felt so bad leaving her today-especially when she would cry out "mama, mama" in between her cough and nose running, but I had to go to work and get some hours put in! Although I wish I could've stayed home with her.
On Wednesday I had the joy of going to jury duty...talk about boring!!! I sat there the whole time, and they didn't even need jurors. The good thing is that I still get paid my days pay from work, so I didn't miss out on pay! Cuz the county only pays you $10.00 a day. Talk about cheap!
Steven and I have been arguing a little bit, which makes it hard. I know every relationship has it's ups and downs, but I feel like I have them a lot. Plus I'm going to Mexico in April with him and his family! I'm excited, but a little iffy, just cuz I'm gonna be gone from Addie for a week and a half. :(

Sometimes a breather is all we need!

Alright, so here I am trying to come up with something to "blog" about... well for starters, I am a single mom to a beautiful little girl named, Addelinn(Addie). Yes, being a single mom is hard at times, but one thing I love about it, is that i get a lot of one on one time with Addie! I'm also in a relationship with Steven! We've been dating for 6 months. It's hard at times, just cuz I want to spend my free time with Addie, but also need to make time for my boyfriend.
This past weekend was nice! Addie was with her dad and so I was able to spend some time with Steve! Which of course made him happy! Yesterday was the best! I layed on the couch from like, 10am to 7pm! in pj's, glasses, no make up!! I haven't been that lazy in almost 2 years. It was definitely needed!! I feel recharged and ready to play mom again! Addie comes home at 6 tonight-can't wait!! Miss that girl!
